The 100 mile route has nearly 10,000 feet of elevation gain. You can see full route maps with elevation charts on our website. You can zoom in and review the route. There will be spot on course where you can choose between the 50 and the 100 mile course before the full 100 mile course gets extremely hilly, so you will have a chance to opt out if you're not up for all the climbing.

Enjoy the ride!

Wondering how steep the incline is on the two 1798' climbs in the 100miler?

Also, for folks that have done this previously: Would you recommend a Camelbak or just two water bottles?

Thanks!

I am curious about the elevation gain on the 50 and 100 miles rides to determine if we're in good enough shape for this ride!  Thanks!

My daughter Siri fought a year long battle with Ewings Sarcoma. She was 9 years old when she died about 4 years ago. She and I enjoyed our bike rides together. She always challenged herself to ride a little farther each ride. We even rode to the hospital about the day before her tumor surgery. It took me a few years to get back on my bike. Last year 9 friends and I rode the STP in her memory and honor. I have been doing some long rides and look forward to this century and raising money to fight the battle against sarcomas. See you on the ride.
